Ideal for the UAE’s air-conditioned interiors, the ZZ Plant thrives where other plants can’t.

Along with the Snake Plant, the ZZ Plant is one of the most resilient indoor plants, perfect for beginners.
It stores water in its thick rhizomes, allowing it to survive weeks of drought or the dry air of an AC-cooled apartment without losing its shape.

Also known as the Zanzibar gem, zizi plant or Zamioculcas zamiifolia. One of the easiest indoor plants you can buy in Dubai.

Sizes: choose your height: 40cm, 60cm or 90cm.

Light: Bright, indirect light is best. It also adapts to medium light and darker spots, so it suits offices and rooms away from windows. Keep it out of direct midday sun.
Water: Let the soil dry out completely before watering. Check the soil every 2-4 weeks. In UAE homes with the AC on, check with your finger before watering.

Pets: not pet-safe. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.

Not to be confused with the Snake Plant. Both cope with drought and low light, but the ZZ has glossy, rounded leaflets on arching stems, while the Snake Plant has stiff, upright, sword-shaped leaves.

Delivered across the UAE: we deliver in Dubai and across the UAE. Choose the Circle pot for a cement planter handmade in the UAE by Plntd, or keep the plant in its nursery pot.
